Advocacy Chair Quoted on Metro Weekly Website
Last Wednesday, students at Rockville, MD’s Albert Einstein High School students received fliers from Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays (PFOX) to take home to share with their parents. And when word reached the offices of MetroWeekly, their reporter turned to MetroDC PFLAG for comment.
Our own David Fishback provided the response, noting that the non-profit does have the right to send home the fliers, but also the message that PFOX perpetuates can in fact be detrimental and harmful to Montgomery County students.
